Each week I am going to give you three teams that are winners, with the spread, and my one LOCK of the week. Ill add my reasoning as well. Enjoy the picks, and use them wisely. Are you ready for some football?
Carolina (+ 7) at New York Giants
I don’t really understand why the line is so high here. I realize New York is at home to open the season, but a TD favorite is steep. Carolina is not that bad. They ended the season hot, and their offense still consists of a great RB tandem of Williams/Stewart, and Steve Smith at WR. The Giants might win, but this game will be close.
Miami (-3) at Buffalo
Buffalo is fuckin’ AWFUL. Miami’s offensive continues to improve every year, and they add a Brandon Marshall at WR this season. The Dolphins defense is usually stellar. I think Miami destroys the dreadful Bills, by at least two touchdowns.
San Fran (-3) at Seattle
Seattle is another terrible NFL team. On the flip side, SF has a healthy Gore and a full season of Michael Crabtree, and one of the best defenses in the NFC. They are looking to win their division and make the playoffs.
LOCK OF THE WEEK:
Cincy (+4.5) at New England
Cincy is overrated. Last year was a total aberration for the Bengals, and New England is very, very good. Brady has Welker and Moss healthy at wideout, and they’re ready to go to work. The T.Ocho show is the most overrated WR tandem in the NFL.
